I can't believe I missed this--and I had it written on my calendar, too...sorry! Did you make a podcast? Was there audio, or did you IM? Great idea, either way, though it's discouraging that our youth don't seem to see the link between their power as consumers *and* political beings...I'm glad you were brave enough to have this conversation without judging the teens for feeling the way they do...
It was an I'm chat. Re: judging, my job as a YA writer depends on me being able to be very open to how teens view life. So it's pretty easy. But I know that approach isn't for everyone. Beware a teen chat. LOL
